Executive Assistant to President of Downstream Distribution
Go-getting, thick-skinned addition to a lean group at Beverly Hills branch of a movie studio. Department handles film distribution for all downstream windows, including digital, video, SVOD, broadcast, etc.
In addition to assisting two EVPs, the job is mainly being an executive assistant to the head of the department and one of the Presidents of the company. Daily tasks can include scheduling meetings, rolling calls, booking travel, etc but also extend into the creating sales materials for potential buyers, client gifting, and researching the everchanging industry landscape. Aside from the basics, responsibilities change frequently, so a jack of all trades will be the best fit.
Excellent candidates must: have a hunger to learn about this side of the film distribution industry, be able to sustain a level head in high-pressure situations, and the ability to juggle multiple high-importance tasks simultaneously.
1-2+ years on a desk would help you as well.
