Busy television production company seeks Executive Assistant/Coordinator to support two busy executives of original television movies. While a lot of the traditional duties of an EA are needed (calendar, personal finances or errands, some phones), this is more organizational and project based. No job is too small attitude. The more capable you prove to be the more projects you will receive. A great stepping stone to move on to bigger and better if that is the goal. Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
Other job duties may include, but not limited to:
- this person will be included in a pool of support staff that relieves the receptionist when needed, so multi-line phone experience needed
- research casting lists
- coordinating travel plans
- updating spreadsheets, documents, lists
- creating professional memos and correspondence
- track shows in production and relay updates when needed
- scanning, filing, copying
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills adept at interacting with all personality types
- Proper etiquette in dealing with C-level executives and talent
- TV junkie with encyclopedic knowledge of actors
- Must have good driving record (will be checked) and reliable car
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- experience with Social Media web platforms a bonus
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time, as the use of a computer is essential to this position. This role also requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. (kitchen supplies, file boxes, etc.)
