Seeking an Event Coordinator / Event Manager in Berkeley, California - Freelance or Full-Time candidates
MUST be local to the San Francisco / Oakland / Berkeley area. Will not be considered otherwise.
Position is geared towards a candidate with Event experience rather than Production / Film / TV / Commercial experience
Award-winning, full-service, boutique production company with offices in CA and NY seeks a proactive Event Coordinator or Event Manager with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively multi-task with grade A clientele. You'll be working directly under one of the Partners of our company in his Berkeley office. Responsibilities include working with projects from pre-production, production, and post-production. Looking for someone with strong language and communication skills with client-friendly demeanor.
The range of tasks is broad; including, but not limited to:
• Office organization and assistance
• Assist Producers with payroll, billing/invoicing, production needs, etc.
• Create budgets and proposals for new business.
• Work with and research established and new vendors for office and/or project needs.
• Assist with any crew/client needs during productions both on-site or from the office
• Track and manage office expenses for jobs.
Knowledge of Mac, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office a plus. Experience with budgeting highly preferred. Past credits as an event coordinator or manager required.
Position has room for growth and is open to both freelancers and full-time candidates.
