Entry Level Audio Editor / Assistant

Audio Editor (Theatrical or Network Marketing preferred)
We are looking for an entry level Audio Editor to work in our Burbank facility. Candidates will be experienced in meeting deadlines and dealing with a high-pressure environment, typical of television marketing. This position works closely with both on site producers and has direct interaction with our clients so client skills are a must.
Duties:
Edit audio and prep projects for staff mixers.
Digitize audio and video elements.
Label and catalog finishing sources.
Assist mixers as need with QC, digital delivery and laybacks.
Requirements:
· Knowledge of professional digital audio workstation such as: ProTools or Fairlight required and must be willing to learn.
· Knowledge of various common associated plug-ins and MAC and PC operating systems a must.
· Candidates will have strong verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work closely with producers and operations management.
· This position requires the ability to work a variety of shifts (days, nights or weekends) BUT is currently and primarily a night shift starting at 7pm.
· Sound engineering school degree preferred or direct relevant work experience.
· Background check required.
· Local candidates preferred.
