Editor/Videographer - Office
A Los Angeles-based media company, is seeking a full-time Editor/Videographer to join our Production team. This person will assist with the operations of production for interviews, music videos, and other visual content. This role works very closely with the Director, Producer, Host and other Editor to create a wide variety of content for web.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Editing tasks, such as: transcoding, organizing, and syncing footage, editing short-form shows, color grading, exporting sequences, addressing notes and changes within an edit.
Compressing and encoding video and audio files for a variety of delivery specs.
Organizing company archives and project related elements.
Graphic design assistance including, but not limited to, motion graphics, .gifs, etc.
Data management within a project, as well as organization among all active projects.
Able to manage variety of other tasks and projects that may arise while working with our directors and producers.
Shooting interviews, red carpets, concerts, set visits, behind the scenes, etc.
Owning camera gear is a major PLUS.
Requirements:
Must thrive in a collaborative team/work environment.
Ability to take direction and complete projects in a timely manner.
Up to date on technological advancements in video and graphic design software and workflows.
Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Especially Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere).
High proficiency in video software Final Cut X. Proficiency in After Effects,
Compressor and DaVinci Resolve a plus.
Knowledge of a variety of video and audio codecs across multiple platforms.
Strong attention to details and accuracy.
Able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
