As the Editor, you will edit content for brand marketing, digital ads, PR, and social media to ensure all content is on-brand. The ideal candidate will have paid documentary or branded content experience and must have high, self-imposed standards and a strong sense of narrative and emotion in their work. The ideal candidate should also have excellent organization and communication skills and bring innovative story telling techniques and ideas to every project. This candidate must work well within a team and be comfortable sifting through a lot of footage to deliver polished, mixed, tight stories within time constraints.
This position will report to the Director, Video Content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the Director of Video content to edit on-brand content for brand marketing, digital ads, PR, and social media.
Maintain a fast-paced output of videos, thumbnails, and graphical elements for the content pipeline
Exporting final projects of a variety of different spec requirements while maintaining QC of final product
Keep server and projects organized upon completion
Experimenting with styles and techniques
Keep up to date with the ever-evolving video styles unique to each platform (Facebook vs Instagram, Brand Site vs YouTube chanel)
Suggesting or selecting music
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluency in Adobe Premiere required
After Effects and Photoshop experience a plus
An eye for design and fashion desired
Must be local and willing to work out of El Segundo HQ
