TV Production Company seeks a F/T documentary director/cinematographer to join our dynamic team. Director will assist in production of web-based TV content. Applicant should be willing to roll up their sleeves, is always up for a challenge, and can potentially travel.
Requirements:
MUST be a Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen; unfortunately, work permits & other visas are not accepted
- work closely with Producer to assess overall vision for & execution of your projects
- pre-production: research; develop storyline, schedule interviews & shoots; assess & prepare equipment
- responsible for interviews, camera & mic setup; shots & camera work; direct crew
- must handle all post: footage transfer, rough to final cut; titling; work with sound editor; archive final cut
- fluent in FCP
- experience with Sony EX-1/EX-3 or equivalent cameras a must
- can manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines & fast paced environment
- must be able to communicate effectively and contribute to the team environment
- flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines
- highly organized
- positive & flexible attitude a must!
- assist in seasonal live event production & other ad hoc requests
- willing & able to travel for shoots as requested
- min. 3 yrs. experience
- fluency in additional languages a plus
