Independent film studio is seeking an Executive Assistant to work alongside the VP of Worldwide Distribution and Director of Distribution. Company focuses on feature film development and production, financing and co-productions, international sales, and distribution of 45+ new-releases per year through multiple output deals, including one with a major studio. Responsibilities to include film market coordination, maintenance of release schedules, tracking projects and maintenance of acquisitions grid, marketing and social media research for larger releases, some light phones and scheduling. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn about theatrical, physical, and digital distribution in an ever-changing media marketplace. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and be detail-oriented. The ability to demonstrate initiative and common sense will serve you well in this role. Relevant degree preferred and 1-2 years of desk experience required.
