Brooklyn-based Reality/Doc television production company seeks forward thinking Development Executive. Looking for bold ideas coupled with a vision for industry trends. The Manager of Development will contribute new ideas to the development slate, create unscripted content, coordinate casting, and produce sizzle reels. Candidate will support the existing in-house sales process with pitches that are on brand, compelling, and original.
Required Experience:
3-5 years' credits and experience in Development at a production company or in a network development department
Experience at producing trailers, casting tapes, and/or presentations reels
Proven writing, presentation, and communication skills
Position:
Develop, research, and write concepts and decks
Write and produce trailers and give creative and edit notes
Track programming trends at all networks and programming departments
Follow pop culture, new media, and trending social topics
Maintain Development databases for tracking write-ups, pitches, talent and meetings
Other:
Candidate must be New York based
