Unscripted television company Leftfield Entertainment is seeking a Director of Business Affairs to handle various aspects of business for its companies which include (Leftfield Pictures, Sirens Media, Loud Television, Outpost Entertainment, and Riot Creative)
Leftfield Entertainment has a fast paced environment and boasts a solid slate of hit television programming. The ideal candidate has exceptional organizational and time management skills, is personable, and has the ability to speak and negotiate with various individuals ranging from high ranking executives and below.
The position requires at least seven years of relevant industry experience (network and/or production company) including:
Negotiating network agreements
Negotiating talent agreements (A-list and new/up-and-coming talent)
Negotiating Co-Production Agreements with third party producers and entities
Familiarity with industry agencies, management, and attorneys
General production risk and insurance management
Production oversight with regard to releases
Solid skills in drafting, amending and redlining industry relevant contracts.
The position reports directly to EVP, Business and Legal Affairs / General Counsel and Vice President, Business Affairs.
