Full Time Job
hi!
If you are reading this you are in luck! I own a production company and my name is Erik. We are growing fast which is awesome. It also means we need someone like you - assuming that you:
- are awesome
- are detail oriented
- clean as all get out
- happy and optimistic
- creative (prove it in your email but don't be too weird)
- good with numbers and math
- can delegate and prioritize well
- bonus if you know premiere pro
- bonus if you have shooting experience
- bonus bonus if you like to cook
- no bonus if you spell my name wrong
WE ARE a production company with multiple features and short form projects in preproduction, production, and post production and always bringing in more. So, we are busy! And you will be too, 5 days a week, maybe 4 - we can see.
We are looking for someone to organize our life around here. You will need to take care of billing, studio organization, scheduling, note taking, deliveries, lunch, equipment maintenance and travel plans. Some optional responsibilities are editing, second camera op on smaller shoots, and plenty of on set assisting.
Important: This job pays $9/hour for days in the office and you get an extra $100/day for days you are on set. If you are awesome we'll want to keep you around and can discuss more as our business allows it. Plus we're not setup for it yet but there will be the opportunity for benefits a little down the road.
We want someone who wants a full time job with great people, is super eager, organized and wants to be a film maker, director, producer of some sort. If you have no experience but are totally confident that you can handle these tasks, want to learn production, have great references, and understand that the jobs that pay the least typically will do the most for your career, then email me.
If you are selected, we will be having interviews Aug 6 in the afternoon / evening. Mark that date!
Oh, last caveat: our office is in El Sereno - that is past downtown. It's ideal if you live on the east side, not ideal if you live in Santa Monica. Please consider this carefully as we don't plan to move our offices for another 6 months to a year and even then plan to stay on eastside somewhere.
Thank you!
