Job Details
Responsible for all financial reporting and data entry for the entertainment company's film production and sales business. Primary tasks include monthly financials, forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and overall maintenance of the company's financial records. This is a part-time position which may lead to full-time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Financial planning, budgeting and analysis
• Data entry for all facets of the company's accounting
• Maintain accounting system and implement integration between departments
• Oversee cash forecasting, A/R, A/P, P.O.'s, invoicing and all reporting
• Building financial models in Excel
Requirements
CPA with minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in accounting for film production at a studio and/or independent production company preferred but not required?
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business?
• Extremely organized and proficient at creating, implementing, and overseeing procedures and systems for increased efficiency
• Excellent Excel and modeling skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and with tight and multiple deadlines
• High proficiency in Quickbooks and Powerpoint
• Paralegal a plus
