Position Description
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and growing firm's branded visual identity and developing a loyal and engaged community. This position is an essential part of the marketing team as it is charged with creating and managing our content calendar, executing film-specific marketing campaigns, reporting on key performance metrics and maintaining vendor & filmmaker relationships.
Responsibilities
• Lead all aspects of digital media and social marketing initiatives, including content creation, social media promotion and outreach, paid social planning and execution
• Translate each film's positioning to creative and integrated digital campaigns
• Maintain content calendar and social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
• Research, analyze and pitch management on emerging technologies, social media platforms and leading marketing initiatives
• Maintain relationships and communicate with filmmakers about film's digital identity, content and audience acquisition strategies, report on results
• Maintain digital and social media KPI's, draw insight and communicate results to management
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2 years of digital marketing and social media experience, preferably in media/ entertainment industry or creative agency
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, specifically ability to write compelling and creative copy
• Ability to drive a proposed campaign from start to finish; experience in analyzing, managing and reporting KPIs
• A meticulous eye for detail and focus on quality control
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other design software
• Strong knowledge of social media monitoring tools/software
• Familiarity with current and emerging web and mobile technologies, media trends and marketing best practices
• Strong understanding and prior experience in film marketing
