Unscripted television production-company is looking for a well-rounded development production assistant. Our PA will assist in all aspects of production - writing, shooting, editing, media managing, and coordinating. This is an excellent avenue to learn all aspects of the industry in a fast-paced, creative environment. This is a potentially long-term position with room for growth.
A film-school background is not required but would be helpful. Must have a general knowledge of how to shoot as you will be second camera on occasion. Excellent writing skills are a must, along with the ability to go with the flow.
If this sounds like a good fit please send along a resume and a short 1 - 2 page writing sample. This could be part of a college essay or something you have written in your own time, we just need a sense of your abilities.
Qualifications
Excellent creative writing skills
Ability to shoot - we generally use canon 5Ds and Ex1s
General knowledge of Final Cut, Premier, and/or Avid is a plus
Hard working
Positive attitude
Organized

Assisting in writing development pitches.
Helping out on shoots as a production assistant with the opportunity to assist as second camera.
Phone outreach and Skypes for casting.
Research and develop new projects.
