Eastern is a reality/docudrama production company best known for the Love and Hip Hop franchise (Vh1) with shows in production / development for History Channel, Vh1, Lifetime, MTV, TLC, Spike, A&E, AMC, E! and Bravo. Our office environment thrives on working with young, talented individuals and making them a part of our growing team.
We are seeking a full-time Reality Development Assistant. Ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter who is passionate about the entertainment business as a whole, and has a love for non-scripted programming. Ability to research, professional phone manner and positive attitudes are a must. Responsibilities will include researching potential show concepts, contacting and conducting preliminary interviews with potential talent, and writing summaries for treatment drafts.
We want organized thinkers, finders, and do-ers! Our ideal candidate is smart, creative and resourceful! Candidates must have 1-2 years experience working in this business. You MUST be interested in reality television and have pop culture knowledge.
