Essential Job Functions
Manage the rendering of all shots in a production.
Manage shot file structure.
Identify, report, and find solutions to rendering errors.
Provide render technical support and liaise with IT Support department staff.
Renaming files to conform to company standards.
Maintains an excellent understanding of the tools and software used in the post-production of VFX.
Monitor and manage disk space on servers.
Provide and receive shots to and from VFX when required.
Provide a second point of contact for Production and Editorial with regards to daily shot tracking and delivery.
Provide a second outlet for demands from all departments for access to any information that comes from the stage in any formats they may require.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in data wrangling and the importance of data integrity and naming conventions.
Excels as a team player and strives to maximize team/department performance.
High degree of computer literacy.
Ability to learn new software quickly, and learn on the job, if necessary.
Ability to analyze and problem solve.
Capacity to take responsibility and ability to manage and prioritize their time and workload.
Ability to record information accurately and produce reports.
Respect for the procedures and requirements of a particular studio, production or pipeline.
Must be experienced with FTP, SFTP. Basic understanding of Aspera a plus.
At least 2 years of experiences
Understanding of OS - MAC
Computer savvy
