Energetic, professional, motivated individual needed to work inside the corporate office of a major motion picture studio and assist studio employees with different aspects of corporate studio functions.
Job Duties:
- Work with Current Feature Mastering Department to assist with creating master elements in various languages for worldwide launch.
- Create Purchase Orders for processing at various studio-approved vendors.
- Organize and schedule delivery of materials to be sent to vendors to fulfill orders.
- Manage project deadlines and communicate with vendors on a variety of potential issues such as turnaround time, rejection, and confirmation of deliveries.
- Assisting on inter-office projects as needed.
A successful candidate must have strong knowledge of video and audio terminology and technical concepts (video frame rates, picture formats, professional file formats, etc.) as well as some technical prowess. Previous studio experience working with video and audio element deliveries is a big plus. He or she must be extremely bright and adaptable to different situations and be able to take instruction from multiple individuals in a busy environment. He or she must be willing to take on many different tasks throughout the day as well as be able to prioritize and deliver with a smile. This is an office position that requires a professional demeanor, ability to abide by a corporate dress code, and the ability to quickly and adeptly read situations and makes decisions on the fly to produce the best outcome.
This position is a full time position located in West Los Angeles.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
2-3 years experience working with video and audio elements in a post-production capacity.
Superior communication and organizational skills
Proficient Typist - 40wpm or higher
Critical thinking and problem solving
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to accomplish time-sensitive goals with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical knowledge of post-production functions and services
