Temp to hire position for a major film studio.
Responsibilities
Track incoming assets, organize these in our internal systems, and facilitate access to multiple departments
Communicate with internal departments and external groups such as talent reps, vendors, press
Assist with approvals from talent and filmmakers
Maintain budgets by handling invoices and tracking costs
Assist in photo editing and making video selects
Handle photo and epk management from captioning, renumbering, transferring to workable environments, archiving
Deal with logistics for photo and EPK/interview shoots
Wrangle photographers on red carpets for premieres
Update press site as new material becomes available
Work with outside vendors to make sure everyone has all necessary information and materials
Handle distribution of approved photo/EPK assets
Assist in brainstorming ideas to make unique and innovative materials
Handle any legal clearances for materials and outside clip licenses
Oversee all departmental logs, charts, and lists
Slight retouching and video editing as needed (not required but ideal)
Qualifications
1-2 years of industry experience required.
Needs to be organized, detail oriented, efficient, proactive, creative, team player, deadline driven
Strong interpersonal skills that will be applied to multiple internal departments and extensive communication with outside vendors, talent reps
Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs
Good business writing and speaking skills
Must be able to juggle and handle a high volume of projects, work in a fast paced environment, identify and set priorities
Has experience working in a photo or video realm and understands technical specs and formats
Has experience working at a studio or entertainment agency
Knows a basic understanding of Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere - not required but ideal
