Job Description
NTT has an immediate opening starting December 2015 for a part-time Television/Webcast Control Room Broadcast Director. NTT provides broadcasting and webcasting of government meetings. A minimum of 20 hours per week will be paid, with additional hours available. Compensation shall be commensurate with experience. The location of this assignment will be the San Francisco area.
The Control Room Broadcast Director is responsible for the on-air/online presentation of various government entities and must work with a team of engineers and other operators to ensure a quality product.
Qualifications:
• Experience with Telemetrics (or similar) robotic camera controls, HD & SD broadcast cameras, broadcast production switchers, Chyron graphics systems, various digital recording formats and codec's, and other aspects of a live control room.
• Experience with Granicus and their encoding system is a extremely desired.
• Excellent computer skills; knowledge of various operating systems (i.e. Windows & MacOS)
• Experience with live webcasting.
• Knowledge of non-linear editing programs and knowledge of Adobe CC products (ie photoshop) is desired.
• Have the ability to work with minimal supervision, be able to communicate clearly and effectively and have the ability to solve problems quickly & calmly while under the pressure of a live broadcast.
Responsibilities:
• Successfully support 3-5 government meetings per week
• Operate production equipment to produce a successful meeting (Switcher, audio board, robotic cameras, Chyrons, etc…)
• Prepare all graphics and perform other pre-production duties as needed.
• Perform post-production responsibilities as needed.
