Major talent agency with offices in New York and Los Angeles is seeking a highly motivated individual to assume the role of Contract Administrator in the Los Angeles office. This is a coordinator-level role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
General contract administration for the agency across all departments
Coordinate contract signings for new and existing clients with the agency's agents as well as clients' managers/attorneys (if applicable)
Ensure contracts are drafted, signed and submitted to the appropriate unions correctly and in a timely fashion
Process and file fully executed contracts in-house
Maintain accurate database of signing/expiration dates for all contracted clients
Possess an in-depth understanding of contract terms and conditions
REQUIREMENTS:
College degree; advanced degree preferred (JD, MBA, etc) although not mandatory
Minimum 2 years' experience in a paralegal or contract-heavy position at a law firm/corporate environment
Must be proactive and a team player, and have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills, and have the ability to stay on top of multiple projects at the same time
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
Position to start immediately.
