Seeking: A well established Commercial Casting Director to join an Exclusive Casting Company in New York City.
ABOUT THE ROLE...
Creating a successful commercial casting department within an existing reputable company that has over 20 years experience in the business. A desire and ability to expand their current casting portfolio. A willingness to train other team members in order to expand the commercial department and promote growth and productivity.
¥ Extensive commercial casting experience with proven track of previous work.
¥ Established relationships with commercial agents in the industry and the ability to call in well established actors in the commercial field for auditions as needed.
¥ Established relationships and pre-existing client base with whom you have worked in the recent past and continue to work with.
¥ Deep knowledge and understanding of the technology and skill necessary to organize, execute and fulfill the requests of commercial producers in an expedient manner.
¥ Be a positive individual who fosters productive working relationships within the company.
WHAT YOU BRING...
¥ A minimum of 5 years commercial casting experience
¥ A portfolio that demonstrates work and collaboration with a significant client data base
¥ The drive, discipline and desire to build a successful casting department within the established company
¥ An acute knowledge of different styles and techniques of commercial production
¥ A working knowledge of the technical aspects necessary to execute the commercial casting process from breakdown to producer approval
¥ Proficiency in budget creation and management
¥ Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under stringent deadlines
¥ Professional appearance
¥ Resourcefulness and proactivity in problem solving
¥ Motivation, loyalty, passion, integrity, drive, honesty, dedication and self-direction
