World-renowned public relations and brand management firm, specializing in developing integrated marketing campaigns for entertainment, technology, and fashion/beauty clients utilizing a blend of cross promotions, product placement, special events and web site marketing, is looking for a smart, bright, and energetic Intern to join our growing team.
We are seeking someone who eats, breathes, sleeps and lives celebrity and entertainment PR!! Our upbeat and exciting atmosphere has flexible hours, ability to work around school schedules, and provides hands-on experience in the PR business. The internship is intended to provide a true learning experience for the student along with the opportunity to observe public relations professionals in a business environment. It will provide familiarity with the public relations field and with the functions of a large agency. Our program enables students to develop marketable skills in a real life professional environment.

Interns assist our publicists with day-to-day duties including research, writing copy for news releases and media alerts, coordinating photo shoots and assisting in the organization and preparation of special events for clients. Interns will also help compile media lists and participate in creative sessions.
Candidates should possess a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field. Excellent written communication and research skills are a must. Ideal candidates should also have computer experience in Microsoft Office, good organizational skills, attention to details and deadlines, and the ability to multi-task. Enthusiastic and eager to learn and courteous telephone manner are especially important.
