Building & Office Coordinator
Small business in North Hollywood seeking a building and office coordinator. Someone bright and savvy, looking to pursue a career in Building Management. One-year professional experience in an office setting required. College degree preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Building upkeep and basic handyman work including but not limited to painting, building office furniture, minor fixes, etc.
- Coordinate and supervise work for hire contractors such as electricians, plumbers, etc.
- Preventative maintenance efforts for the interior and exterior of the building including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, major appliances and amenities
- Maintain janitorial closets and equipment in a clean, safe and operable environment
- Client services including clean working environment and craft service
- Office inventory including office supply stock, kitchen supply stock, restroom supply stock, etc.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, handling and moving objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to respond to emergencies and urgent issues appropriately and with a sense of urgency
- Basic understanding of commercial properties and building infrastructures
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with great personal presentation
- Basic cooking and food presentation skills
- Clean driving record with working car and insurance
- Cell phone
- Must live locally in Los Angeles
Introductory position with potential growth to management
$12/hour with benefits and PTO accrual following 90 days of employment
