Voice-over talent agency seeks an experienced Quickbooks expert to manage customer and vendor accounts and assist with actor scheduling and studio bookings, as well as incoming client projects and services. This is a unique position in a combination agency and post production recording studio and we're looking for a mature individual to complement our small staff with professionalism, trustworthiness and a sense of humor and style.
PLEASE NOTE: We seek an experienced BOOKKEEPER who wants to learn more about agent assisting -- NOT an agency assistant/producer/tech who's willing to learn bookkeeping!
You are:
First and foremost, a Quickbooks expert, with demonstrated experience and knowledge of invoicing, report generation, collections, trouble-shooting and problem solving. You'll interface with our off-site accountant but will be the primary day-to-day billing and contractor payments person.
A seasoned office employee, ideally with 10+ years of verifiable experience. We seek someone who keeps a cool head, is highly organized, loves people and wouldn't mind working at the front desk, doubling as a greeter and light-duty receptionist.
Interested and knowledgeable about the entertainment industry, preferably with related experience in scheduling, bookkeeping, studio management or tech.
We offer:
A truly flexible 4-day per week work schedule, allowing you to adjust your hours, averaging about 6 hours per day. You could likely choose your midweek day off and adjust your hours between within a 9AM - 7PM timeframe
On-site training in a happy and productive environment, filled with interesting people and challenging projects.
The possibility of growing this part time gig into a full time job.
