Boutique Bookkeeping firm seeks a strong Assistant Bookkeeper /Admin Assistant to join their growing team. The part-time position is 20 hours/week to start.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist with day-to-day accounting functions for multiple clients:
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Payroll
• Monthly Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations
• Journal Entries
• Month-End Close
• Generating financial reports to clients as requested
• Answering emails to clients
• Arranging courier service throughout Los Angeles for document pick-up and/or delivery
• Ad hoc projects as needed
• General administrative office duties - scanning, filing, emails, scheduling
Qualifications:
• Minimum two years accounting experience
• QuickBooks Experience - Mandatory
• Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred but not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook & Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
