This is a commission only position with a 50/50 split based on the clients' gross income. Established boutique talent agency representing live entertainment is seeking a booking agent to join the team.
Responsibilities include:
- Tour planning, budgeting and/or booking??
- Account management and sales -
- Negotiating terms with venue and promotional and promotional partners to create mutually successful engagements??
- Identifying and researching new artist and property opportunities??
- Participating in booking conferences requiring travel??
- A demonstrated career history of negotiating and closing deals
- Communicating efficiently with clients to coordinate and schedule auditions, meetings, and appointments?
Qualified candidates will:
- Be highly self-motivated and driven with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Be experienced with booking process and contracts
- Have the ability to multi-task and follow instructions.
- Be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft office, word and excel.
- Possess a high level of initiative. Have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Be personable, with an outgoing and friendly personality.
- Preferably have an existing client list. -
- Have at least 3 years of booking agent or manager experience, with strong knowledge of the live entertainment industry. Those without agency experience NEED NOT APPLY.
We cover overhead expenses: Office, submission sites, accounting, etc. This position has the flexibility to work from home and meet with clients at the office. All candidate submissions will be kept strictly confidential to protect any candidates currently employed. Serious candidates only.
