Beverly Hills Entertainment Law Firm seeks associate attorney.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The principal responsibilities of the position will be to negotiate and draft contracts and handle all day-to-day production legal issues related to theatrical motion pictures, television shows and internet projects, which include clearance matters, music (e.g., licenses), guild-related issues, etc. Must be able to mange multiple productions simultaneously. Other responsibilities may include preparation, negotiation, and/or review of finance and distribution agreements and advocating for talent clients (i.e., producers, writers, directors and actors).
REQUIREMENTS:
J.D. degree from an accredited law school
Active Member of California state bar
Minimum of Two years development and production experience at motion picture studio, Television or Entertainment based law firm.
Experience with SAG, DGA, WGA, IATSE a plus.
