Assistant to Television Host, Producer, and Reporter
*reports directly to Executive/ TV Personality and the production Executives for participatory series.
Location: Located in Greater Los Angeles Area
What the job is: Position is for a highly motivated individual to make their mark in the entertainment world and for someone who wants to build a company brand and be a part of a company's creative, logistical and development process.
Will be in charge of all social media including the creation and implementation of social media posts and campaigns, using social media platforms to expand the company brand.
Must want the opportunity to develop and produce projects within the worlds of television, film and digital and be willing to invest the time to learn aspects of production (shooting, editing, script, etc.) and business (contracts, public relations, networking, etc.).
Must be a team player and be able to put the needs and well-being of the Executive first and foremost. Must also be receptive to the learning process of the Executives.

Willingness and eagerness to work odd or long hours, including weekends and at times holidays. Will be on call with phone at all hours. Experienced traveler.

Required experience:
• At least 2 years' experience assisting an agent, manager, publicist or executive in the entertainment industry. Extreme intelligence and maturity, able to think on your feet quickly, loyalty. Must be detail oriented - not just in word. Must see and be able to stay ahead of everything smoothly.
•Background in television production and event planning is a plus.

• Must provide support to all team members and have willingness to learn all aspects of other team member's job
• Must have an aptitude for technology and an eagerness to learn new gadgets and applications.
• Must have extreme knowledge of all platforms of social media
• Must be responsible with a reliable car.
• Note: must be animal lover
• Must be OK working at a quiet cubicle with not a lot of people.
• Must be proficient in Gmail and Excel. Super-fast typist. Someone who understands the need to get through a to-do list proficiently! Looking for someone who only wants to be an assistant.

Required knowledge & skills:
• Knowledge of the entertainment news business and it's ever changing nature.
• Awareness and passion for pop culture and celebrity culture.
• Excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Apple products and applications (iPhone, iPad, iPod, MacBook, Apple TV etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of Google applications (Gmail, Google Cal, Google contacts etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of Dropbox (uploading, sharing, etc.)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of TV and film production.
• Savvy with Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and Avid are a plus

Job duties include (but not limited to):
• Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafts emails and letters; collects and analyzes all incoming information.
• Protects operations by keeping all information highly confidential.
• Works directly with publicists and agents to assist in coordinating logistics of all press and red carpet appearances, charity events, and guest TV appearances.
• Maintains and updates daily To Dos, providing progress reports of completed work.
• Interfaces with Executive's publicists, lawyers and agents; scheduling and coordinating as required.
• Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems (i.e., Dropbox).
• Coordinates all charity events, parties, and fundraising events Executive may host or participate in.
• Reviews and prints all incoming scripts and creative material.
• Maintains and archives all press (both print and online).
• Keeps organized Executive's home office systems.
• Assists Executive with any home errands that need to be accomplished.
• Responsible for sending out all birthday and holiday gifts and thank you notes to Executive's contacts.
• Responsible for keeping up with all new technology and fixing/maintaining all of the Executive's devices.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
