Assistant to Manager for Film/Theater/TV
Management and Production company based in New York City represents actors and actresses for TV, Film and Theater seeks assistant to work closely with the president of the company to help with managerial duties for the office and for the clients as well.
The majority of the duties would include managing lists of clients, maintaining client databases, and creating systems to optimize management efficiency (Google Drive, Google Docs, etc), submitting for jobs, communicating with agents and casting directors, and managing the calendar.
Assistant will learn and become familiar with the client base, helping with casting submissions as well as emailing/calling casting associates/ directors to initiate appointments. Calling actors with auditions for theater, film, tv as well as assisting with getting them feedback for auditions. Assisting with solidifying reel, choosing headshots, and assisting clients whenever possible. Candidate will also be expected to cover theater, attend film premieres, as well going to comedy to seek new talent. Various production opportunities are in the works as well, so there is opportunity for experience in a producer/creative team member as well in this position.
This is an extremely busy office, so the right candidate for this position needs to be very organized, extremely computer proficient, great with people, and able to multi-task effectively.
Agency and/or management experience is preferred.
