Job Description
Title: Assistant Model Manager, Fit Division
Job purpose: Manage schedules and marketing portfolio of fit models.
Reports to: Sr. Director, Fit Division
Company is a long-standing, successful model management agency, It represents and helps develop the careers of new and established fashion models. This is a rare opportunity to work with and learn from one of the most respected companies in the industry.
Qualifications:
A degree in marketing, communications, fashion or a related field is required.
Candidate must be detailed, organized and manage time very well. These qualities are an absolute must.
Ideal candidate has experience managing models and clients in the garment center. Ideal candidate has worked with fit models and apparel production teams and has experience using cDs Agencypad technology.
Hours: The fit division operates from 8:30am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Occasionally need to be available nights and weekends to respond to clients phone calls / emails.
Responsibilities:
a.) Model marketing:
a. Create and maintain key marketing elements for models:
i. Coordinate photo shoots
ii. Image portfolio and composite cards
iii. Specification (measurements) sheet
iv. Bio / resume
v. All of the above maintained in MSA portfolio and web content management system
b. Send models marketing packages to clients
b.) Model schedule management:
a. Coordinate daily schedules of fit models and proactively review schedules to maximize client activity.
b. Ensure models have enough time in between appointments for travel, lunch
c.) Administration of model documents (vouchers, statements, info sheets)
d.) Model scouting and recruiting
Communication:
a) Solid phone and email acumen. Always have a client-first mentality and can-do attitude
b) Diffuse complaints and solve problems in a non-combative fashion
c) Interface with accounting to resolve problems
