Looking for an experienced executive assistant for the head of a digital/TV production co. This is a fun, friendly, female-driven office. You must be an efficient, capable, hard-working and easygoing team player, ultra-organized with excellent writing skills and experience in development and some production experience as well.
The right candidate possesses a can-do spirit, good sense of humor, is honest, easy going, calm, and helpful - expert at thinking ahead and keeping our CEO five steps ahead at all times.
Main Duties:
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, calls, etc., with writers, producers, advertisers, multiple productions including google docs, call sheets.
• Some pre-production and on-set producing duties (i.e. budgeting, prop lists, etc.)
• Tracking development, writers, production, schedules.
• Final Draft revisions.
• Assisting with development process, knowledge of TV and web series structure.
• Maintaining calendar
• Handling some personal errands
• Booking travel and creating itineraries
• Track receipts and expenditures
EXPERIENCE WORKING ON A BUSY DESK AT AN AGENCY OR MGMT CO A BIG PLUS.
• Development, production coordinating experience for series, pilots or web
• Familiarity with agents, writers, talent, influencers, etc.
• Familiarity with production processes and terms as well as the rhythm of working with multiple projects in different stages of development or production.
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word and Excel) and Google apps
• Ability to write professionally in multiple formats and for distinct audiences
• Familiarity with Final Draft and script formatting
• Comfortable with both Mac/PC
Helpful skills:
• Great writing, relationships with talent, agents, influencers
• Production background and/or writer's assistant experience
• Marketing, PR and Social Media experience a MUST
Applicants must have own laptop and reliable car. We're located in Studio City We are flexible with hours and schedules based on our production needs. You are an independent contractor. ($600 - $700 per week based on full week and experience) Lots of opportunities for advancement.
