Seeking a paralegal to assist the CFO of a prominent entertainment company in West Hollywood.
Experience/ Skills:
• Ability to deal with highly confidential matters using discretion
• Intuitive delegating skills
• Possess a positive, approachable and ''team-playing'' attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Access
• Organization and filing skills a must
• DataFaction and/or finance experience a plus
Essential Job Functions:
• Phones, Scheduling (meetings, appointments and coordination of travel if necessary) Filing - maintain and update all files, including all outgoing correspondences and storage file lists
• Work in tandem with Facilities Coordinator to recruit and train support staff employees (mailroom, reception, kitchen coordinator, floaters and interns)
• Assist in any banking matters upon request (wire transfers, obtaining signatures for bank accounts, booking receipts, supervising bank deposits)
• Maintain Petty Cash (includes facilitating small reimbursements and auditing receipts with Petty Cash log)
• Track commissions and receipts for growing talent management company
Business Affairs:
• Entity formation and dissolutions
• Corporate entity maintenance:
o Prepare and collect signatures for annual minutes/ unanimous written consents
o Update and maintain all corporate record keeping, including federal and state filings, statements of information, etc
• Track film commission & profit participations for all clients and projects as deemed by the COO/CFO
• Unsolicited Materials (maintain Access database, log all unsolicited submissions & return with standard form letter/email, and file all hardcopies of the form letters & email responses that are sent)
• Assist in tracking film audit statuses
• Assist in maintaining corporate insurance
