Assistant to CEO of Artist Management Company
Objectives:
-Managing professional and personal calendar
-Coordinating and documenting internal and external meetings
-Booking travel plans / logistics
-Receiving and transferring calls amongst staff
-Maintaining and assisting with planning client's master tour itineraries, calendars, and distributing tour schedules and marketing assets
-Delivering assets to client's teams
-Assisting Manager with communication between client and client's teams and filtering information to necessary parties (record labels, publicist, booking agents lawyers, accountants, merchandiser, brands, etc.)
-Advancing shows with promoters & booking tour travel / logistics
-Responsible for merchandise inventory for touring clients
-Scheduling interviews for clients and coordinating with PR teams
-Assisting Marketing Manager with developing, strategizing, proof-reading and managing content for all clients' socials
-Assisting managers and clients with any required administrative duties
-Researching and scouting new music to build roster
-Assisting with brand development - non-music related activities, film, fashion, tv, etc.
-Hiring & managing interns
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
-1-2 years experience as an Music Assistant or Day-to-Day Manager (preferred) or in similar field (Agency, Film Production, etc.)
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a variety of tasks successfully
-Ability to deal with high-pressure situations
-Positive professionalism with high-profile personalities
-Self-starter, detail oriented, and driven with the ability to take initiative and anticipate manager's and client's needs
-Ability to work individually (sometimes from home) and in a team environment
-Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
-Ability to work weekends and evenings, if/when needed
-Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel, iCalendar, Google Apps, Social Media platforms, Mailchimp, Task / Project Management software, Evernote, etc.
-Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
