Assistant - Culinary and Lifestyle (Entry-Level)
The world's leading full service entertainment, media, and sports agency is seeking an assistant to support a senior agent in the Television Alternative department who focuses on representing clients (talent and brands) in the culinary and lifestyle industry.
In addition to TV Alternative, the position offers a tremendous opportunity to gain a variety of knowledge and insights across various areas of the business including lifestyle, fashion, and digital. The ideal candidate is a digitally savvy self-starter, with a passion for all things culinary (a ''foodie''). This role will be responsible for general clerical and administrative duties including handling phones, managing calendars, heavy travel scheduling and logistics, expenses, and general office management. In addition, the person selected for this role will also maintain an awareness of the Executive's obligations in order to proactively assist and/or anticipate needs.
Qualifications
• At least 1-2 years of Administrative Assistant experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure; meet tight deadlines; manage multiple projects and expectations; and maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities.
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills are a must.
• Ability to provide effective and timely follow-up on key deliverables for the agent.
• Strong interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite and in particular Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Adept at quickly learning new processes and technology.
• Familiarity with the lifestyle/culinary industry preferred, but not required.
Education
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
