Los Angeles based boutique entertainment marketing company is seeking an experienced Assistant Editor to work on numerous projects.
Candidate must be able to edit on Premiere and have knowledge of AVID. Must have at least two years worth of experience working in a similar capacity in a post production department. Candidate should be organized, responsible, detail oriented, creative and able to work under deadline pressure. Must be able to take direction from several producers and editors. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple projects at once.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Sync media files, log new footage and prep projects for editors
Importing/exporting, transcoding, asset management, project archiving
Prepping, outputting and uploading deliveries
Troubleshooting technical problems
Project organization and other tasks as necessary
Skills & Requirements
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere
Working knowledge of additional Adobe softare like After Effects and Photoshop a plus
Familiarity with post production workflows and procedures
Understanding of media formats, frame rates and audio/visual codecs
Ability to jump between multiple software programs and tasks
Problem-solver and a positive attitude towards creative and technical challenges
Prior experience with marketing content in a post-production environment a plus
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
