VIDEO TRANSCODING / AUDIO SYNCING for FCP7 Project
Seeking knowledgeable AE with his/her own system to convert video and sync audio for a one-off project.
Please be local to the Los Angeles area, as we cannot be shipping drives between remote applicants and will need to meet in person.
• There are 62 video clips.
Their total approximate runtime is 90 minutes of footage, circa 100 gigs.
The video clips are currently MPEG4 files, 1920 x 1080.
They are encoded at H.264, and they need to be converted to QuickTime ProRes 422 files.
The video clips do contain audio recorded by the camera.
• There are 30 audio WAV files which were recorded separately from the camera.
These audio files need to be synced to the converted QT video files.
• The 62 synced A/V clips need to be subclipped within FCP7 so that, ultimately, there are 62 new, QT-transcoded, audio-synced files ready to be dropped into the Canvas/Timeline.
You do not need to rename or log-note any of these media files or FCP7 subclips-- the above tasks are merely to get the source video compressed properly, synced to its audio, and subclipped for the editor to start sorting out.
We estimate that this should take either half a day or possibly one whole day in total, depending on your working speed as well as your processors' speed.
Pay is fair and industry-standard for a responsible AE who'd properly handle the above technical specs: we just need the job done right.
If interested, please send an email including a brief description of your experience and the softwares/system which you'd be using. If you are including a resume, please embed it within your email rather than attaching it, as those will not be opened. In your subject header, please include your name and ''FCP7 Transcode'' so that we can weed out CL spammers and know that you read this ad in full.
Thank you very much for your time!
