Seeking: Intern for NYC-Based music management company
Location: New York, NY
Description:
Music management company in New York City seeks Intern for the 2015 spring semester. Exceptional communication, writing and organizational skills required. Mac proficiency is a must. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) is a plus. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks sufficiently while working independently.
Duties include:
•Basic office duties such as answering phones, filing, scanning, faxing, and copying.
•We place a key emphasis on digital media marketing, so the intern is responsible for helping with online research which involves seeking out new trends on the web that might be applicable for our clients.
•Working directly with our team to update artist calendars, websites/social sites, and managing guest lists.
•As a team, we all work together and expect that our intern will jump in whenever needed. The responsibilities are different every day but are always essential to the functions of our business.
Internship requires a commitment of at least 16 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks. Background experience/coursework in music is a plus. Internship is for credit only.
