Full Time Job
Prominent full-service talent agency is looking for a candidate to work as an assistant to an agent within the speakers division. This position offers great experience in all facets of the department in both sales and event coordination. At least one year in an administrative role within the entertainment industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for supporting the agent including but not limited to:
-Answering phones
-Working with the agent to help in the contracting process
-Inputting and tracking contracts
-Following up on payments
-Sending materials and drafting correspondence.
-Marketing initiatives
-Researching events and background information on potential buyers
-Learning the clients, their needs and preferences and communicating those to the buyers
-Learning our buyers and their preferences
-Identifying problems early on and addressing them proactively
-Creative problem solving for contractual, air travel, ground transportation, technology issues
-Handling special projects and additional responsibilities as requested

-Strong internet skills, research skills, tracking and crunching numbers and comfortable with new technology
-Excellent phone manner
