Administrative/Executive Assistant (VR Company)
Established media company in Universal City, CA is seeking a Full-time Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate must excel at multitasking, be self motivated and confident, friendly and outgoing, possess highly developed organizational skills, strong attention to detail, problem-solver, superior verbal and written communication skills, a professional demeanor and the ability to work well as part of a team. Willingness and desire to learn new tasks with the company is essential.
The Company actively produces content for film, television, and video games.
Job duties will include but not limited to:
1. Administrative Assistant will serve as a facilitator to coordinate schedules, obtain requested information, maintain reports while looking out for the best interest of the President and the company.
2. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities. We work in a very fast paced environment.
3. Excellent organization skills and ability to anticipate and solve problems.
4. Ideal candidate will be flexible under all circumstances.
5. Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
6. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and client correspondence.
7. Light accounting.
Required Qualifications/Skills include:
1. Administrative experience, ideally in the entertainment industry
2. Knowledge of video game/film industry a plus
3. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Filemaker Pro, Mac and PC computers and other commonly used applications
4. Social media savvy a plus
5. Must be a self starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical and mathematic skills
6. Must be well mannered, have a professional demeanor and an excellent attitude.
8. Able to work well with co-workers in a boutique, friendly, non-corporate environment.
