Prominent boutique entertainment law firm seeks full-time floater assistant. This position provides desk coverage for assistants when they are out of the office and will also assist with special projects including filing, scanning and database management. Candidates with bookkeeping and accounting experience will assist the Office Manager with accounts receivable/accounts payable and other projects using Excel and other accounting software.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and top-tier organizational skills. Must be able to learn quickly and multi-task effectively; be detail-oriented, with a keen eye for proofreading, and able to prioritize, while flexible enough to shift those priorities as needed. Successful candidates can interact with integrity and grace, both on the phone and in-person, among high-profile figures and all levels of staff.
Ours is a fast-paced work environment where professionalism and sound judgement are crucial. Candidates must be able to handle strong personalities and a shared work environment with a friendly demeanor and a positive attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is an absolute must.
At least two years professional experience required, entertainment industry experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree required.
