A busy, boutique TV Commercial Production Company in Culver City, near Playa Vista, is seeking a Production Accountant to become a part of our team. The Qualifying Individual will be responsible for:
• Managing all accounts payable and production vendors.
• Crew-payroll liaison with payroll company.
• Credit card reconciliations.
• Reviewing and processing petty cash.
• Processing check requests.
• Job-cost monitoring and reporting.
• Ensuring that all overhead expenses are paid in a timely manner.
• Maintaining effective communication with Production, Office Staff and Vendors.
• Researching and resolving any accounting or documentation problems/discrepancies.
Requirements:
• You must be organized, dependable, and detail oriented.
• At least 2+ years of accounting experience.
• PC user with strong MS Excel, Word, 10-Key and typing skills.
• Experienced QuickBooks user.
• Experience with CAPS Payroll LAjit Accounting System is desired.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
