This is a Global search and the role is based US (East Coast)
Location: East Coast, USA
The Company:
Our client is a leading US based SVOD service dedicated to curating and delivering high quality original and acquired content globally direct to consumers.
With significant backing and a well respected management team, the company is now looking to expand its global reach and grow its subscriber base.
The role is based on the East coast of the United States so green card holders or US citizens are preferred.
The Role:
As the company continues to grow, the business is now looking for an experienced Marketing executive to lead the marketing effort.
The SVP of Marketing and Customer Acquisition will be responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and executing market strategy and achieving subscription acquisition and retention targets through advertising and promotion as well as overseeing PR, Publicity and Press.
This is a broad role and specific responsibilities include brand definition and positioning; target development; business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for promotion and advertising; coordination with technology, programming and sales; and hiring and directing the day-to-day activities of a small Marketing and Communications team.
Extensive travel may be required.

The Person:
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a minimum of 10 years experience managing teams responsible for marketing and communications and budgets in excess of $10M annually.
This is a very entrepreneurial company so if you have only worked in a large corporate organization, this may not be for you.
Experience working with digital products, preferably subscription-based is preferred as well as the ability to motivate and build a small team.
A strong analytical approach to data is especially useful.

Remuneration
