An industry leader in themed entertainment and hospitality seeks an extraordinary Director of Merchandise and Games to join its Knoxville, Tennessee-area team. In this role you will establish strategies that increase revenues, improve margins and manage expenses to support the Company's goals, business plans and objectives. You will oversee all on-Park revenue-generating opportunities and work with other divisions to design and direct the implementation of revenue generating programs. You will direct the implementation of merchandise buying and operations, including shops, leases, production, warehousing, and inventory control as well as direct the implementation and operation of Games. A cornerstone of this role is your ability to demonstrate and lead your team in a way that that exemplifies our company's strong ethical and moral values. Experience within the Theme Park industry is required.
The perfect candidate will have:
-Minimum of five years of experience directly supervising at least 5 direct reports and at least 100 indirect reports in a retail environment for theme parks, museums or attractions.
-Minimum five years of experience managing multiple retail units/departments preferred.
-Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Business, or directly related field preferred.
-Demonstrated track record of increasing sales and profits.
-Knowledge of, and experience with, store conception is ideal.
This is a fulltime, on-site position in the Eastern Tennessee area. Salary range is $90-100k, DOE. Relocation options are feasible for the right candidate. For consideration, please send your resume to
