Our client, a pioneering production company, is looking for a Business & Legal Affairs Assistant to join its team! In this role, you'll provide support for attorneys on day-to-day matters including, but not limited to, drafting, negotiating, & reviewing agreements, contract administration activities, drafting correspondence, reviewing programs and creative write-ups, and identifying and assessing legal risk. You'll also provide standard administrative support, including scheduling and filing. This is an excellent opportunity to hone your skills with a leader in television production!
You should have:
- a Juris Doctor degree, or a paralegal degree or certificate
- a minimum 2 years of legal experience in entertainment [ie. with a network, studio, production company, or entertainment law firm], with additional experience in experience in clearances, intellectual property, & labor. INTERNSHIPS OK!
This is a 3-4 week role beginning ASAP in the Glendale, CA, area, with compensation around $20-25/hr, DOE. Please DO NOT apply if you cannot commit to the entire duration of the assignment!
