Full Time Bookkeeper/Office Manager for growing boutique size Artist/Advertising Agency located in Santa Monica, CA.
Monday through Friday- Hours 9am-5pm

BASIC SKILLS NEEDED:
• Enter and print checks from multiple accounts
• Bank Reconciliations for multiple inter-related accounts
• Credit Card Reconciliations
• A/P entry- enter and pay bill functions
• A/R - voluminous invoicing In my opinion the biggest most important part of this position
• Cash receipt posting and deposit entry
• Credit card processing from client payments
• Must be good on phone with clients - non-abrasive collection ability a must-verbal and written
• Billing Item set-up/must know the complete function
• Must know reporting functions- how to set up reports, how to tailor reports for clarity
• Absolute attention to detail
• Must be able to complete work within reporting deadlines (all work for one week must be finished and recorded in that same week).
REPORTING SKILLS
• Report creation from scratch/must understand the options and how to use them for report creation and interpret for efficient uses.
• Must understand difference between Cash and Accrual Accounting
• Must be able to present accurate Balance Sheet and P&L reporting and analysis
Requirements: Must be EXTREMELY proficient with both Quickbooks and Excel- Required
