Full Time Job
Global entertainment leader is seeking a Benefits Analyst within their HR Department. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and executing their benefits programs including health insurance, life insurance, retirement, LOA and wellness programs in compliance with ERISA, HIPPA, FMLA, COBRA, OSHA and ACA.
Primary functions include:
• Providing guidance to their multi-state and international employees, act as a liaison between vendors and employees and advise employees on eligibility, coverage, and other benefits matters
• Maintain an ''expert'' level understanding of benefit plans and trends, program offerings and regulatory benefit requirements in a business environment and must stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation
• Serve as liaison with the third-party benefit administrators to provide prompt assistance to employees and/or dependents in resolving benefit issues, account corrections or emergency response needs
• Track, record, monitor and report on all employee leave of absences, adhering to Federal and State regulatory compliance requirements and/or leave policies
• Act as backup for Workers' Compensation claims administrator, perform OSHA reporting and follow up requirements, and evaluate and report the Company's ability to re-assess and/or accommodate disabled workers, as applicable
• Conduct internal customer focus groups and/or surveys
• Work closely with the HR/Benefits team and contribute on projects, highlighting issues, and making recommendations to address issues and priorities as needed
• Audit, process, activate employee applications, benefit changes, updates or initiate benefit separation documentation, as applicable, on benefit provider web site
• Assist in the coordination, facilitation, communication, implementation and roll out of benefit Open Enrollment, HR/Benefits programs
Requirements include:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, business, and/or human resources
• Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification preferred but not required
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
• Experience working with international benefit programs preferred, but not required
