Full Time Agent Assistant / Social Media Manager- NYC
Company represents a boutique roster of photographers, directors, and illustrators. Experience in advertising, photography, art or design required.
Regular hours are Mon-Fri 9:30-6:30 (must be flex as they often work later).
Key Responsibilities include…
- Handling day to day administrative operations, such as answering phones, mailing packages, scanning invoices, maintaining office, making reservations, and updating company calendar.
- Provide support to sales staff; research clients, create marketing lists, etc.
- Administrative liaison between NY and LA offices.
- Prepare documents for weekly team meetings.
- Support company projects by creating calendars and timelines to track progress.
- Produce expense reports itemizing company spending.
- Assist with meetings and tradeshow preparation, including placing catering orders,
researching event venues, and packing promotional materials.
- Maintain office inventories, anticipating needed supplies.
- Coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
- Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices and implementing changes for better efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Must be professional and sophisticated with a positive attitude and an eye for art and design.
- Must have exceptionally strong digital skills.
- Social Media experience on a business level is required.
- Excellent problem solver with willingness to wear multiple hats as they are a small team.
- Provide support to team members while anticipating needs.
- Strong organizational skills with obsessive attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, multitask and handle competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong math and accounting skills.
- A background in advertising, photography, art or design.
- Proficient with Mac OS, Google Apps, Adobe Suite, Word and Excel.
- Experience with CRM platforms and MailChimp preferred.
- Familiar with NYC restaurants, venues, and hotels a plus!
Digital / Social Requirements
Digital asset management, optimization, and archive maintenance.
- CRM database architecture, research, and caretaking.
- Frequently refresh artist galleries and banners on company website.
- Prepare targeted image galleries for agency clients.
- Manage subscriber database including creating and updating lists; with ability to quickly segment lists for targeted marketing.
- Digital marketing and e-newsletters; ability to identify, gather, and analyze data.
- Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, tracking, and measuring the success of email marketing campaigns.
- Oversee strategy for the digital footprint of the brand including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, and Vimeo.
- Comprehensive knowledge of best practices for managing and optimizing social media channels with a deep understanding of engagement analytics. Insatiable curiosity for all things social.
- Listen to and monitor all social media outlets on a daily basis, responding to social media engagements in real time, as necessary.
- Manage relationships with advertising industry influencers, while strengthening our brand presence in the social space.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Develop and execute campaigns to gain social media followers; review effectiveness to maximize results.
- Experience or interest in advertising, photography, art or design required.
- Digital skills are key- must be comfortable organizing and resizing image files. Experience in the Adobe Creative suite is important.
