The primary purpose of this position is to support the Sales and Marketing team through the collection and organization of pertinent data that provides in depth analysis regarding industry trends, sales opportunities, campaign effectiveness and market penetration in a concise format for customer and executive use.
Duties will consist of, but are not limited to; compiling concise and accurate reports to measure the success of business initiatives; using statistical tools for analysis that will enhance business efforts; gathering and utilizing our distribution and retail customer data; performing retail analysis to support advertising and program spending; managing sales and marketing data for reporting and distribution to key executives; assisting in creating presentations for applicable business units.
Qualified candidates for this position must have excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills; ability to understand how reports are generated and consumed; proficient in Microsoft programs including Excel and Power Point; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing data; working knowledge of Soundscan, BDS and Mediabase reporting systems; a minimum of four years music/entertainment business experience; demonstrate good judgment and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and documents; general agreement and acceptance of the Company’s core values.
