The Repertoire Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting in the creation, maintenance, and management of Concord Music Group's metadata and digital assets, as well as bulk delivery of content to our distributors.
1. Manage catalog content deliveries to distributor and digital partners
- Metadata and asset research, quality assurance, and data entry into internal Repertoire system.
- Prepare metadata ingestion into metadata system.
- Ship finished goods (i.e., CDs) to Mastering Studios for audio upload.
- Transmit formatted art assets to distribution staff for upload.
- Schedule digital delivery to partners in scheduling system once metadata, audio and art assets are in place.
2. Provide art assets and metadata to Distributor for digital production as needed
- Confirm asset information for internal and distributing partner Repertoire systems.
- Correct any discrepancies between art asset and metadata for internal and distributing partners Repertoire systems.
- Upload art assets to Distribution partner and notify relevant departments.
3. Maintain accurate label copy in Repertoire System
- Confirm track titles and durations against finished goods.
- Investigate and remove duplicate artists, tracks, works, etc.
- Research and associate works and publishers with each track.
- Verify contributing artist roles on catalog releases and compilations.
- Confirm track sequences against archived audio.
4. Provide metadata support for all releases and special projects
- Provide backup for all internal and external metadata systems and data entry.
- Undertake special projects in digital operations as needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of Music Industry experience. An understanding of label copy and music-related metadata is essential.
- Fastidiousness: a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Advanced knowledge and passion for the digital music marketplace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Access, is essential; background in MS SQL is a plus.
- Self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exercise good judgment and discretion.
- General agreement and acceptance of the Company's core values
