Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to alleviate the extensive demand and workload on current team members. Allow for growth and expansion of department capabilities which are not possible with the current state of the department.
Core Responsibilities:
To assist with data ingestion, reconciliation and reporting thereof on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as design and alter ad-hoc reporting requests.
Outline of Specific Functions:
1. Import and reconciliation of sales data source files using DTs and stored procedures into our data warehouse
2. Import and process sales related information into our ERP system and reconciliation thereof
3. Data analysis and reporting at various detailed and summary levels using SQL queries and reporting tools
Requirements:
• Three to five years day to day Microsoft SQL Server experience which must include the ability to create complex queries and understand and alter existing stored procedures and views
• Accounting application experience (experience with ERP programs such as Great Plains, MAS90 or MAS 500, SAP, Oracle Financials)
• Extensive Excel experience. Strong analytical and mathematical skill sets.
• Great attention to detail and ability to take pride in ones work
• Good communication skills as well as an understanding and appreciation of department deadlines
• General agreement and acceptance of the Company's core values
